Steve Driver, PhD, LMHC

Steve works together with clients to discern the best approach for who they are and what they hope to achieve. He earned his MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Valparaiso University and is an EMDR certified therapist. He also has a certificate in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Research Foundation. Earlier in his career, Steve earned a PhD from the University of Toronto, specializing in the theology and spiritual practices of the early Christian church. He taught at universities and seminaries for several years. Along the way, Steve led retreats to introduce people to early Christian spirituality and offered spiritual direction. A retired Lutheran pastor, Steve continues to explore ways to integrate mental health counseling and spiritual direction with his clients.
