Chris Oxendale, LMHC

Chris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and received his Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Science from Valparaiso University. He joined Family Concern Counseling in 2018, with 25 years of experience from working at two different Community Mental Health centers. Previously, he provided individual and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults, while addressing a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, depression, anger, serious mental illness and marital counseling. He also provided clinical supervision of staff and was the Director for Community Support Services for 8 years. Chris and his family spent three and a half years in the Dominican Republic serving as missionaries, reaching children in orphanages, care centers and schools. Chris and his wife have been married for over 34 years and live in Valparaiso. They have two married children and three grandchildren.
