Lisa Walters, MA

Lisa is a graduate of Valparaiso University where she received her bachelors of science in psychology and her masters of arts in clinical mental health counseling. Her passion for counseling began when she was involved in a faith-based summer confidence camp.  She enjoyed connecting with the campers on a deep level and quickly discovered the impact of therapy.

Lisa’s background involves working as a qualified mental health counselor at the Lake County Jail. She also has experience counseling at a woman’s recovery home and facilitating team building for children on an outdoor ropes course.

Lisa has participated in research throughout her years at Valparaiso University and was published in The SAGE Encyclopedia of Abnormal and Clinical Psychology.

She provides counseling in the following areas:
